Smile I'll do it too.

LoL. 4-5 years. I don't see how you couldn't have improved. I did a drawing for a friend, he liked it, I thought it could have been better, but that's just me. *story time, skip down if you don't want to read* I drew a picture last wednesday. And it was on lined paper, and it unexpectedly turned out really good. Anyway, where I'm going with this is, there's no way to not improve, lol. Especially after 4 years. I'd like to see your work too. I got an elfwood account, but kind of abandoned it, not sure if I was going to really do something for it. And even if someone does find my work appropriate for their needs, I don't think I'd have the time for it anyway. *end story*

I'd like to give it a stab as well, if you don't mind. When I read your requirements, yes I do have to say 1 plat is too low. But after the standard he posted, I'd be more than happy to do a basic sketch. And besides, pencil/pen is my forte, hehh. No I don't have MSN though, I only use AIM and ICQ, but everything else is a-okay. Multiple screenshots would be nice.

Hmm. Do our artists have examples of their work? Just out of curiousity, you know.

Wow, I never thought I'd see the day where so many people offered it for free o.o. I must say I am honored. I'll go ahead and try to contact the three people who've already volunteered. Umm if anybody else wants to try I guess you can PM me as well. I go by many names on GW: Abby Ravenbourne, Aequitas Admonitio, Raven Arivian.

If this keeps up we could make this into a friendly contest. I'm sure I could construct a small site on geocities to house it. Maybe we could put other character portraits on there as well? Just an idea.

Thanks again for all your guys' (or gals') volunteering and I can't wait to see what turns out.

Aand again, sorry about the whole 1k thing. Like I said, I was desperate and prett much broke. Although now I can raise it to 2k :P

PS: I tried to contact Riplox already by e-mail but maybe it didn't go through? Just wondering cause I never got a reply. I'll try to contact everybody on GW within the next few days and if not on there then I'll send emails or something.
PPS: Sorry about the late reply. I almost completely forgot I wanted to do this. Too much planning for college going on. Thanks.

If any of you are wanting to see some of my work, my most recent is the Token of Time cover I just inked today. You can find it in the Nolani Academy of Arts section appropriately named Token of Time

I'd volunteer to do it for free too, if this rule:

Must have Guild Wars and be on the American server.

didn't stop me. im on the european servers. good luck with drawing, all of you.

I would have to agree that your "demands" (and i would call them demands -they sounded so strict) was what stopped me from offering.

Obviously there are a lot of generous people on this board -because many people offered to do it for free.

Just letting you know what I felt -and that maybe you scared off some other artists as well because of "how" you asked.

Actually the only reason I stuck that server rule on there was I didn't want anyone to PM me and start talking to me in a language I didn't know. I'm only fluent in English, Bad English, and Gamer-Speak o.o. If you'd still like to try I'd be more than happy to get you started though.

And yeeeah, I knooooow x_x. People love to remind me of my stupidity. Like I said, I'm sooooorry I sounded so strict and mean...sheesh -.-;
